How to Get Desired Username as Email ID

If you are a newbie or a person trying to get your desired username as your email id, then you are at right place. Email ID plays a vital role in passing information to others. Having a easy to remember and catchy email ID makes a big difference on your online presence.

The biggest email providers on the earth are Gmail and Yahoo!. What is the problem with them? You can't get your required name as your mail id since all the famous names and easy to remember names are already registered by others.

So you have to settle down with a lengthy username which contains so many characters, or words ( including your surname ) as well as numbers ( in the form of DOB). etc. Even though you can remember this mail id, for others it is hard to guess.

So how to solve this problem?
Well there is no chance to get back the user name registered by some one else. But you can try the alternate ways to get your desired username.

Try mail.com which supports a variety of domains. Here there is chance to get your desired user name because they supports a variety of domains like
yourname@mail.com, or @email.com, @usa.com, @consultant.com, @myself.com, @london.com, @post.com, @dr.com, @engineer.com, @techie.com, @linuxmail.org, @cheerful.com, @writeme.com, @iname.com, @europe.com, @asia.com

The advantage is suppose you are a Linux user then creating an email id like yourname [at] linuxmail [dot] org is something different and so much related and special to you as well as for others to whom you commincate.

You can also try fastmail.fm, which provides similar options like mail.com

Other than these you can also go for some famous email providers like live.com, aol.com, in.com to check whether your wanted username is available or not.

But I will miss the great features of Gmail if I register my username at somewhere else?
No. Not at all. If you like Gmail so much then you can configure other mail ids in such a way that you can get all the mails back to one Gmail ID. By this way you will enjoy Gmail and also your desired email username.

Still not happy with your your username? Why don't you try the Google Apps Service which can be used to register your own domain name and configure it so that you can receive the mails directly to your Gmail inbox. Of course having your own domain name and username like naresh [at] nareshbharat [dot] com will cost you around 10 dollars per year.
